Artist Daniel Moe

Daniel Moe is an influential innovative glass artist who is recognized by his creativity and his passion for expressing the raw elements and their complex interaction in the process of creation. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, he received his Fine Arts degree in Hot Glass from The University of Wisconsin in 1991.

Being drawn by a powerful calling from the Big Island of Hawaii was a key factor to further expand his connection to Mother Earth with his creative glass work. He currently lives and works in Kalapana where he gets his inspiration from the ocean and the volcano Kilauea which is just a few miles away from his home/studio.

Through his continued creative experimentation and mastered skills, Daniel has developed a very personal style that is unmistakable and easily recognized. This collection represents some of his work... work that is always evolving, changing, transforming, and expanding.
