Artist Friday Art Nights in Lahaina

Friday night is Art Night in Lahaina and nowhere is it more of a happening scene than at Sargent's Fine Art at 802 Front Street. In a type of business establishment traditionally known for its quiet and dignified atmosphere, on Friday nights there is a spontaneous eruption of singing and dancing. It is indicative of the innate joy people feel when surrounded by fine art and music. And of course no Bacchanalia would be complete without a little wine.

It's pretty hard to resist the rocking tunes of Curt Lee. Sometimes Curt's ex-wife, Louise Lambert, and their daughter, Joi, lend their mellifluous voices to the revelry.

There is always at least one local artist in attendance, or else a visiting artist who flew in especially to introduce you to their art. Add a touch of dancing to an evening of art appreciation and local culture, and a good time is guaranteed for all.
