Artist Gloria Madden

Local artist Gloria Oceana Madden grew up here on Maui, mostly on the north shore. While touring Tahiti for professional bodyboarding, she fell in love with the Tahitian culture and lifestyle. It was there she learned how to make a traditional style of Tahitian pearl jewelry, with natural materials such as leather and twine.

When she returned home to Maui she began making her line of jewelry and selling it exclusively at Sargent's Fine Jewelry. The style is simple yet elegant, very versatile and unique. Currently her designs incorporate Tahitian pearls, sterling silver, natural gem stones, and 14kt gold. She has many designs that are new and exciting to the jewelry world.
